HUMAN FACTORS & INCLUSIVE DESIGN

In this course, I explored the principles of human factors and inclusive design, focusing on how user capabilities and characteristics can be systematically incorporated into products. I learned about human information processing, cognitive and physical human-product relationships, and the challenges of designing for diverse user populations, including aging and differently-abled individuals. Through lectures, hands-on activities, and essays, I developed practical skills to manage a design process that integrates human factors and inclusivity, culminating in an evidence-based project. This experience deepened my ability to critically assess and improve products to ensure they meet diverse user needs effectively.
