As a Design Consultant, I contributed to the brand development for a non-profit dance company in Central NY SpeakDance. We are designing and iterating on various marketing materials, including website design, posters, and social media content. I am also helping create a cohesive logo and branding guidelines to establish a unified visual identity.

design process & ideation.

As a team, we went through rounds of iterations, referencing information from client meetings, UX research, and the industry. We started with exploring color and gradient palettes, ensuring that colors we chose matched their music, costumes, and values. From there, we explored various typefaces, compiling our final design decisions into a brand guideline pdf. Once we had a final color palette and typeface, we applied that to posters, social media, and their website, experimenting with layouts and compositions to look aesthetically pleasing.
